The Kiwi
Rainbow Planet
Rainbow Planet transforms the delicate surface of a soap bubble into a vivid world of colour and movement. Through macro photography, electric blues, turquoise, yellow, orange and magenta flow across its surface in intricate formations, creating the impression of oceans, continents and swirling atmospheric systems on an unknown planet. The photograph explores the extraordinary patterns hidden within something as simple and temporary as a bubble. Against the deep black background, its luminous surface appears suspended in space, blurring the boundary between the microscopic and the cosmic.

The Avocado
- 80 x 53 cm
The Avocado draws attention to one of the fruit’s most recognisable features: its dark, uneven skin. Photographed closely, the surface becomes a pattern of raised textures, subtle green and brown tones and small natural irregularities, contrasted against an intense green background. The composition turns the avocado’s familiar exterior into an almost abstract study of texture. What can appear rough and simple from a distance reveals surprising complexity when examined more closely, showing how much detail can exist within an everyday object.

The Kiwi
- 80 x 53 cm
The Kiwi explores the rough, fibrous surface of a fruit more commonly recognised for what lies inside. Seen at close range, its brown skin reveals fine hairs, irregular textures and subtle variations in colour that are easily missed at first glance. The bright turquoise background creates a striking contrast with the kiwi’s earthy tones. By concentrating on the exterior rather than the familiar green flesh, the photograph transforms an everyday fruit into an unexpected landscape of texture and detail. It encourages a closer look at a surface that would normally receive little attention.
